Benefit this Sunday at Jimmy’s No. 43

Jimmy's No. 43 post-fireI’m proud to be performing this Sunday April 26th alongside my fellow Primary Stages ESPA-triots at a benefit for Jimmy’s No. 43. This East Village bar, which is located adjacent to the devastation from the March 26 fire, is near and dear to my heart for many reasons.

It was the location of my second first date with my husband. We had our wedding after party in the back room. And I have had the pleasure of performing there with ESPA’s Detention 2 other times. (Come out on Sunday and I’ll tell you all my fabulous Jimmy’s stories.)

The owner Jimmy, is awesome peeps, and this benefit is to help him get back on his feet after being closed from March 26 – April 11.

Jimmy’s No. 43 is located at 43 E. 7th St.

ESPA will be performing between 4:10-5:10. Other ESPA folks who have written, are performing, or have directed these pieces include:

Jessica Afton, Heidi Armbruster, Brock Bivens, Matt W. Cody, Hannah Jane Ginsberg, Deanna Henson, Rachael Jenison, Sheila Joon, Aida Leguizamon, Sarah Matteucci, Mackenzie McBride, Mike Poblete, JJ Pyle, Karina Richardson, Andrew Rincon, Jona Tarlin, Mary Matoula Webb, Miranda Wilson, and Clint Zugel

Can’t make this window? Please come out regardless and show your love for this awesome East Village venue.
