Natalie Neckyfarow grew up in Charlotte, NC where she began her career as a dancer. She studied in the pre-professional ballet program at The Ballet School of Charlotte and performed with Charlotte City Ballet in various featured and soloist roles. She went on to graduate with a Bachelor of Arts, Cum Laude with High Honors in Dance from Smith College (part of the Five College Dance Department) and earned a Professional Diploma in Dance Studies from the Laban Centre London during her study year abroad. She has also performed professionally with Notes in Motion, Contemporary Ballet Theatre, and Dance Central.
As an actress, Natalie excels in comedy and specializes in musicals. She recently spent a month performing with Shakespeare in the Valley, earning her first professional Shakespeare credits: Jacquenetta in "Love's Labours Lost" and Dromio of Syracuse and 1st Merchant/Angelo in a first folio approach to "Comedy of Errors." Favorite musical theatre roles include Anne in "La Cage Aux Folles", Mae / Dream Gladys in "Pajama Game", Gertie in "Oklahoma", and Lucinda in "Into the Woods."
Natalie has also worked in film and television. Her credits include the role of Lain Connors in the independent feature "Sci-Fi High: The Movie Musical" and Gerta in the TV Pilot "Junior Varsity."
Natalie resides in New York City, where she has studied at the T. Schreiber Studio, American Globe Theatre, and works privately with Lynn Singer, Susan Eichhorn-Young and Tom Burke.
Natalie is also a certified Pilates Instructor and Personal Trainer and recently ran the New York City Half Marathon with Team in Training, raising money the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
